PAWTUCKET – Pawtucket Mayor Donald Grebien and Central Falls Mayor James Diossa, along with the Pawtucket Foundation, city planners and other officials, hosted a public open house at The Isle Brewers Guild on Feb. 28 to share plans for the Conant Thread district, a 150-acre transit-oriented development planned around a new train station and bus hub opening in 2020.
The event featured a series of displays addressing different topics related to the new district, including vision, the multi-modal station, parking, safety, walking and biking, design and regulatory process.
